2016 Memorial Day Picnic

by Alin Manukyan

St. Thomas Armenian Church was absolutely thriving this past Monday at the annual Memorial Day Picnic and Food Festival! Despite any clouds, it was a truly delightful day at our church, with a constant flow of visitors from beginning to end. The event was a tremendous success! Fr. Papken, and the entire St. Thomas Church community could not have been more pleased. It was a day of family, food, friendship, generosity and love in our beautiful church. Sincere thanks to all of the volunteers that gave of their time and effort for the days leading up to and including Memorial Day!

Making It Happen – Volunteers of the Memorial Day Picnic

by Alin Manukyan

Preparations are well underway for the annual St. Thomas Memorial Day Picnic and Food Festival! These women are an integral part of the backbone of this, and many, great events sponsored by St. Thomas that we enjoy every year. Bring even more of your family and friends, and see how much you’ll enjoy the music, barbecue, desserts, prizes and more under the warmth of the sun on St. Thomas Church’s beautiful grounds. The kids can play on the grass with their friends, get their faces painted, and have some treats while you enjoy a coffee outdoors after a satisfying meal and catch up with your friends too!
