Children’s Easter Communion and Breakfast

by Alin Manukyan

The annual St. Thomas Children’s Easter Communion and Breakfast took place on Saturday, March 26. The pews were filled with children of all ages, and their families, to receive Holy Communion and then enjoy breakfast with a special guest, the Easter Bunny! What a great turnout. This special service for the children is attended every year by all Armenian children in the area. Thanks to many people at St. Thomas, this year’s communion and breakfast was an uplifting and unforgettable Easter celebration!

Little Hands Keeping Big Tradition Alive

Whether we continue this tradition of making choreg in our homes today, or cherish the memories of elder family members who prepared this special sweet bread, we can be assured our children are being taught about these traditions and more in the St. Thomas Sunday School!
