The Kirikian Armenian School and St. Thomas Armenian Church extend their sincerest appreciation to all who have supported the 7th Annual Earth Day Project to help the victims of the Nagorno-Karabagh Conflict. The grand total of donations being sent to COAF (Children of Armenia Fund) is $1,580! This is the largest donation collected yet in the seven year history of the Kirikian Armenian School’s “Earth Day Every Day” project! This donation will help the Children of Armenia Fund provide safe rooms that will offer psychological counseling and crisis management for affected children, parents, pregnant women, soldiers, families of missing soldiers, and other community members in the Nagorno-Karabagh region.

“…I would like to extend my appreciation to all who have supported our 7th Annual Earth Day Project. We have collected $1,125. Our contribution to the Children of Armenia Fund will help them provide safe rooms that will offer psychological counseling and crisis management for affected children, parents, pregnant women, soldiers, families of missing soldiers, and other community members. I believe with this annual project, we are actually planting seeds, seeds of “OUR FUTURE” into our children’s hearts. I’m very proud how our school has became conscious about Earth Day project over the years and it is absolutely amazing to see how numbers are growing each year to support all different causes. If you haven’t had a chance and still wish to make a donation, please feel free to hand me over your check (COAF) or cash, at the last day of school or the day of hantes (Kirikian Armenian School graduation). …”
