We will be livestreaming the Khavaroom Service to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stthomasarmenianchurchnj at 8:00 pm EST, on Great Thursday, APril 9.
We will be livestreaming our spiritual sanctuary and background hymns and Armenian Church spiritual songs, with narration by Fr. Papken Anoushian, to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stthomasarmenianchurchnj at 10:00 am EST, on Palm Sunday.
We, at St. Thomas, have decided not to endanger the lives and families of our deacon(s), organist, and choir member(s), based upon medical data and guidance of national medical and academic experts. Thus, we are canceling the live video streaming of Palm Sunday and service for the Great Week.
The Kirikian Armenian School of St. Thomas united and started using technological advantages to accommodate its students for the remainder of the 2020 academic year. The faculty of 20 teachers have coordinated teaching their students through the Internet, missing only one week of class amid drastic adjustments made because of the Coronavirus.
St. Thomas has been working diligently to set up the livestreaming technology. Details will follow soon.
From Hayr Papken, Prayers in Time of Pandemic (in English, Western and Eastern Armenian). Please select to expand/open any one for reading ease.
For the health and safety of our parish members, we unfortunately will not be able to have the annual Palm Sunday Banquet and will not be able to celebrate the anniversary of our Church and ACYOA Day. Please select to read Hayr Papken’s appeal to parishioners.
Father Papken is ready to assis any needy St. Thomas Parishioner in the area during this Coronavirus pandemic.
