Masquerade Ball

Bring your family and friends to celebrate POON PAREGENTAN at St. Thomas!

On the Sunday before Lent, Armenians celebrate Poon Paregentan, a time to feast before the fasting of Lent begins. This day is considered the first step of the Lenten journey.

Join us as we celebrate this event with our Masquerade Ball.

Poon Paregentan is composed of two words: Paree-Gentanootioun which means good living and rejoicing whereas Poon means the main. This points to the fact that the fasting period following Paregentan is longer than weekly Lents of other feasts, and it is tied to the main event of Christendom, the resurrection of our Lord.

Space is limited, reserve today!

It will be an enjoyable night for all ages with Mezze (appetizers), a Cash Bar, Assigned Seating, and Music by DJ Harout.

Masks and Beads Included!
