The fabulous women volunteers of St. Thomas came in bright and early this past Tuesday to help prepare many baked goods, including favorites such as cheese-filled boregs and sweet bourmas. These delicate and crispy treats are just some of the many internationally-loved foods that even the most discerning tastebuds will enjoy on Monday afternoon, along with kebab and much more!
These women are an integral part of the backbone of this, and many, great events sponsored by St. Thomas that we enjoy every year. So much goes on behind the scenes to bring together this fun day for everyone! Bring even more of your family and friends, and see how much you’ll enjoy the music, barbecue, desserts, prizes and more under the warmth of the sun on St. Thomas Church’s beautiful grounds. The kids can play on the grass with their friends, get their faces painted, and have some treats while you enjoy a coffee outdoors after a satisfying meal and catch up with your friends too!
Like the embrace of your closest family member, the foods like your mom or grandma would make certainly will make this day of remembrance a special one as we celebrate together as one collective family of the Armenian Church, honoring valiant veterans on this upcoming Memorial Day.
